Our Story

It all started from Keith's garden and Clem's kitchen. What started out as a hobby and something to share with friends is now available for everyone to enjoy.

Keith, an avid botanist, always interested in various types of chili peppers for its attributes and degree of heat. He came across a strain called Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Peppers), normally cultivated in the Northern Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Manipur. Ghost Pepper was once recorded as the hottest pepper in the world in 2007, it is rated at more than 1 million SHU (Scoville heat unit) -- that's 400 times hotter than the Tabasco Pepper!

Keith decided to share the peppers with his friend Clem, a private chef, to see what can possibly be made knowing how hot they are. The magic is to create something that can deliver the heat and still make it enjoyable. Finding the right balance of heat and flavor that will tickle your taste buds and make you wanting for more.

After years of perfecting our Hot Pepper Jelly, we are now ready to share it with the world.
